Hi all: Finally, the interview this holy man who made us dream with his track Dikkenek!
_ Whence and what are the origins of your name YIY ?
Initially, it was two in the draft, and the first track that had been made based on a sample of English lessons with a guy who talked about reflexive verbs and I think he said "you Injured yourself" so we called the track you Injured yourself and the project you insult yourself. In the end I did all the tracks alone so I naturally found myself alone in the project.

_ Since when did you put the music creation ?
At 13-14 years had a punk-rock and I played the guitar then I had a more indie project leads where I played bass and I sang, but the drummer went to Lyon for his studies, so we ended up as two idiots, without rhythm. That is precisely why we began to electro and electro so basically I'm doing this for a year and a half.
_ What are your reference artists you like ? worry-inspired t u?
I listen to a lot of stuff in different styles that range from popular big stuff like Ga
insbourg / Beatles / Velvet Underground / Doors classical music for Rachmaninoff or Chopin zoner kind, I also like to stay abreast of the new rock scene like funeral party, and also a lot of funk. Obviously a lot of music based on electro, but this time I mute. Before I was very "turbine": Boys Noize, SebastiAn, Proxy and other good stuff nags. These days I listen more stuff rhythmic and melodic and it influences me necessarily.
_ What software do you use and instrument?
I only use Ableton Live to produce with lots of plugins and effects.
_ From where do you inspire your sound?
Like I said, right now I am inspired more melodic stuff. Before I was almost entirely remixes of generic TV and other crap like that, it was fun but it's over I think.
_ Have you ever mixed for a concert or a big night ?
I had a date at Valenciennes last year and several things here and there, but with school it's a bit hot to find time for that. Next year should leave me more time s.

_ Do you have a next day or you mixerai?
Normally April 1st at the Cave and the poets I have just returned in an association of Nantes, riven association, so I should play the battle incessantly shortly.
_ Would you like to become a recognized artist Boize Noise or Dada Life ? Or you do it because you're young and you got the time ?
I do it for fun, so I can earn some money with it as best but it's not my goal.
_ What would be your biggest kiff? tell a little
Play I Love Techno, it can not but be something huge.
_ Can you tell us about your upcoming EP that you are preparing ? What will the track-list ?
I'm quite proud actually. It changes quite radically from what I usually to do, but it's a cool step. The EP called "Rhizobacteria" there will be three original tracks: Rhizobacteria, Anasthesia and another unnamed for now, and three remixes of Rhizobacteria normally: a riding crop (Lille), one of Kamei (Brazil) One of Crystalised (Tours). It will be released mid March.
_ A dedication to the end?
To all the guys who move the ass to do different stuff at all small labels in particular.
Small mixtape 30 min with 15 tracks, of which three quarters are not released yet or will never leave, Including 2 tracks of Rhizobacteria!
A very very cool mixtape, a kiff assured my friends!
And yes it's for you excluded the track he produced recently BAVARIA :
And Fifth Element which suggests the blog to all those who liked the remix of Dikkenek to listen and download now! !
